Ports of DOUALA and LIMBE : According to the latest Port Notice dtd 24.11.2015

- for vessels arriving from / having called in Sierra Leone, Liberia or Republic of Guinea: vessels remain subject to a sanitary inspection at Buoy 45. Vessel with suspected cases of Ebola onboard will be subject to corresponding 21-days quarantine.

- for vessels arriving from other countries than the above: sanitary inspection to take place at berth upon arrival.




To date, the official ban on the infected countries has been lifted and international airline have since resumed serving from/to the infected countries.




  • 24.11.2015 : Harbour Master's Information Notice advising of the new controle measures in port.
  • 22.08.2014 : Harbour Master's Circular nb.405 reminding that any transfer of sick crew must first be approved by the Port Authorities.
  • 14.08.2014 : Ministry of Territorial Administration's official notice nb.3306 ordering the air, maritime and inland ban on Cameroon grounds of any person or cargo coming from or having transited through one of the Ebola-infected countries.
