All inland borders with Guinea and Liberia are officially closed.





Port of ABIDJAN : Mandatory sanitary inspection at anchorage for vessels arriving from infected countries.
UPDATE 23.10.2014 : The Abidjan Port Authorities have issed a formal notice of information advising that, since the WHO has now officially taken Senegal and Nigeria off the list of infected countries, ships arriving from either country will no longer be subject to the a.m. sanitary inspection at anchorage.

Port of SAN PEDRO :
1. Vessels to provide copies of last sanitary control + copy of medical record book for past 20 days
2. Mandatory sanitary inspection upon berthing
3. NO ONE else to be allowed onboard until clearance by sanitary inspectors
4. Vessels to declare immediately any suspicion of Ebola onboard and raise Yellow Flag -> 21 days-quarantine of rest of crew to follow.
+ the Port Authorities have now put in place a special Emůergency medical team trained to respond to Ebola.






The Airport of Abidjan is still maintaining its ban decided on 10.08.14 of any plane arriving from / having transited through one of the infected countries.

  • 11.08.2014 : Abidjan Port Authorities' Circular nb.0567 instating ban of all vessels having called in an infected country
