Ports of OWENDO, LIBREVILLE and PORT GENTIL :
The total ban of incoming vessels from ports of infected countries has been officially lifted by the Ministries of Transports and Health, and replaced by the following measures described in an official circular dtd 04.09.2014:

1. VESSELS
- All vessels arriving from any country with reported or suspected cases of Ebola will need to be declared to the Authorities at least 24 hours in advance and provide such documents as their last sanitary control certificate, medical record book for the past 20 days, list of ports called over the past 30 days, the list of African ports where crew changes might have taken place and a declaration of isolation (detailing measures taken) for any suspected case they may have onboard.
- These ships will be inspected systematically at anchorage by a medical team
- ALL crew to remain onboard throughout the ship's call + no crew change allowed
- Gloves and masks mandatory for anyone attending ship.
- Any vessel bearing suspected cases will be immediately quarantined at anchorage and assisted by the local health authorities

2. OFFHORE
- any ship supplying or assisting offshore platforms will have to declare its port of origin to the Owendo Port Headquarter before being authorized to access the Gabonese territorial waters.
- any personnel movement onboard offshore platforms will have to be subject to a prior authorization by the Gabonese Director of Merchant Marine (DGMM) after clearance by the Seafarers' Health Department.
- platforms will obviously also have to declare any suspected case.

3. STOWAWAYS
- disembarking of stowaways in Gabon is now suspended until further notice, regardless of their nationality or country of origin of the ship they are found on





Airline connections suspended with all infected countries.
