Following a 40-days surveillance period after the last reported case, WHO has declared LIBERIA Ebola-free on 14.01.2016.




All inland borders have reopened on 22.02.15.

Medical watch in place at any official/public building entrance: temperature check and systematic hand wash with chlorine solution




Port of MONROVIA : The notice of information issued by the Monrovia Port Authorities on 28.07.14 is still in place, rendering the following measures mandatory for all "port users and port Employees" :

- Wear of disposable gloves and masks
- Repeated use of sanitizer
- medical screening and body temperature monitoring

Additional measures for incoming vessels arriving from another infected country:

- mandatory medical screening and body temperature monitoring for ALL crew
- Health Care questionnaire to be filled for any outgoing crew

Last, local Agents recommend the following additional measures for ALL vessels calling in Monrovia:

- ALL crew to remain onboard during call
- Reduce physical contact with outsiders to minimum required
- Gloves and masks mandatory for anyone attending ship





To date, AIR COTE D'IVOIRE (to Ivory Coast) and ARIK AIR (to Ghana) have resumed their service to Monrovia, along with ROYAL AIR MAROC, BRUSSELS AIRLINES and KENYAN AIRWAYS.
