Following a period of 40 days without any new case declared, the W.H.O. has officially announced on 20.10.2014 that Nigeria shall no longer be considered as an infected country.




Inland borders with Cameroon are officially closed.







Port of LAGOS : While the Nigerian Port Authorities continue to claim that Lagos is an "Ebola-free" port, the following measures have now been implemented :

- Mandatory sanitary inspection at anchorage for vessels arriving from another infected country
- Wear of disposable gloves and masks mandatory for anyone attending ship
- ALL crew to remain onboard during call
- Reduce physical contact with outsiders to minimum required




Airline connections with other infected countries are suspended until further notice.
