According to the latest WHO report, "in Sierra Leone, human-to-human transmission linked to the primary outbreak was declared to have ended on 7 November 2015. The country has now entered a 90-day period of enhanced surveillance scheduled to conclude on 5 February 2016". Since March 2015, Sierra Leone has reopened inland borders with Liberia and Guinea, but enforced medical (temperature) screenings for incoming populations. Port of FREETOWN : According to local agent, no specific preventive measure has been implemented for vessels arriving from Liberia or Guinea. To date, the country is served on a regular basis by international airlines like AIR FRANCE, ROYAL AIR MAROC and BRUSSELS AIRLINES (LUFTHANSA subsidiary), along with other sub-saharian African airlines. |
